1959 Cadillac
Click here for a larger image. Cadillacs are my favorite cars of all time and the one with the maximum fins was the 1959 model. It was the jet age and the cars mimiced that with the fins. I hope I captured it in “Glamorous Life” Click here if you are interested in this painting.
Little GTO
Click here for a larger image. When I was in high school a friend of mine had a 1967 Pontiac GTO. He had restored it with his dad. I thought it was the coolest car in our hometown. Unfortunately he was killed in an accident in another car. His dad put the car in the Kernersville Parade every year in honor of Tommy. Click here for a larger image.

Click here for a larger image. So my dad always loved old cars. Packards were his thing but I loved Cadillacs. When we went to the auto shows I went straight for the Cady’s and the 1960 was my favorite. The were modeled after the jet age and the fins may have even been bigger than the airplanes. Click here for a larger image. My dad was a car guy. He loved Packards. I alway loved the Cadillacs at the shows. Most people love the 1959 Cadillac because of the fin hight but I allways liked the 1960. It is one of my favorite cars. The Cadillacs back then mirrored the jet age with the fins.
